Naomh Padraig and Moville Community College's Cillian Doyle has been named as Danske Bank Football Player of the Month for October by Ulster Schools GAA.
Doyle helped his local club to victory in the Donegal U-17 Division 2 championship on October Bank Holiday Monday, when they overcome fellow Inishowen side Malin on a 2-16 to 2-5 scoreline after extra-time as well as putting in some fine showings for his school side.
"For October, the Danske Bank Football Player of the Month is Cillian Doyle from Moville Community College. Cillian was in fine scoring form for his school with a number of impressive displays in the Danske Bank U16.5 O'Doherty Cup.
"Cillian was to the fore in victory over Deele College Raphoe and a draw with SP&SB Claudy, while he also notched 1-8 in a narrow defeat to St Patrick's Dungiven. The young Donegal GAA man is a member of the CLG Naomh Padraig Uisce Chaoin club and has a bright future ahead of him in both club and county colours! Comhghairdeas Cillian!"
