Residents object to Muff apartment plans

Objections have been lodged by local residents to plans to build four apartments in Muff.
The application to Donegal County Council to build two blocks of apartments at a site at Ardmore, Muff, close to the centre of the village, has been made by Ultan Doherty.
The site is in the Iskaheen Park estate and is close to Scoil Naomh Bríd.
The development has received six objections, which have raised concerns that include that the type of accommodation is "totally out of character" with other residences in the estate.
There are also concerns that the proximity of the planned development to Scoil Naomh Bríd will add to parking issues at the school in an already congested area.
Objectors are also concerned about the potential impact on the sewage system, loss of privacy and that the apartments would add to road safety issues in the area.
The application was made at the end of November and a decision from the council is due by the end of January.
