Scattered showers to turn heavy in Donegal later today

Scattered showers and some sunny spells at first in Donegal today, but becoming cloudy and wet with outbreaks of rain moving eastwards through the day.

Rain will clear from the east early tonight and will be followed by clear spells and scattered showers. Lowest temperatures of 6 to 9 degrees with moderate to fresh westerly winds, becoming southerly and light overnight.
Tomorrow morning and early afternoon will be cloudy and wet. The rain will gradually clear eastwards through the afternoon but it will stay rather cloudy with some showers. Highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees with light to moderate, variable winds.
