Naomh ColumbaManager: Paddy J McGinleyLast year championship: Lost Intermediate final to Dungloe. This year’s AFCL: Lost Div 2 final but promoted to top flightFirst two opponents: Gaeil Fhanada home; Bundoran away.Prospects: Losing the Intermediate final was a big disappointment but the Glen men have been there or thereabouts for the last few years. Guaranteed to be in the mix again this year, but whether they can get over the line remains to be seen. Have the potential and will certainly have the support.Star man: Philip Doherty

Naomh MuireManager: Danny O’Donnell. Last year’s championship: Lost to Dungloe in the quarter-final. This year’s AFCL: Ninth in Division 2. First two opponents: Away to Red Hughs; home to Burt. Prospects: Naomh Mhuire had eventual winners Dungloe on the ropes in the last eight last term but just came up short. But with the likes of Paul ‘Yank’ Boyle and Darragh White back in the ranks ahead of the IFC, the men from the Banks should be targeting a semi-final berth this time out. Star man: Eoin Martin

Red Hughs Manager: Eugene Browne Last year’s championship: Lost to Termon in the quarter-final This year’s AFCL: Eleventh in Division 2 First two opponents: Home to Naomh Muire; away to Letterkenny Gaels. Prospects: With the likes of Stephen McMenamin, Jack Gillespie and Calvin Bradley in their midst, Red Hughs have enough grit and talent to be aiming for the semi-finals of the IFC. Star man: Stephen McMenamin.

TermonManager: Caolan McDaidLast year championship: Lost IFC semi-final to DungloeThis year’s AFCL: 5th in Division 2First two opponents: Naomh Brid away; Na Dúnaibh homeProspects: With their full complement Termon look likely to be in the mix for the Intermediate championship. They have a very good young team who were playing senior up until last year. Disappointing finish to league but should be good bet to be in draw for quarter-finals at least.Star man: Ryan McFadden
