Body of missing Donegal woman found
Daena Tighe had last been seen on January 7
The search for a missing Buncrana woman Daena Tighe has been stood down after the discovery of a body.
The discovery was made in the Buncrana area this Tuesday morning, January 10.
Gardaí renewed an appeal for information about the missing 21-year-old on Monday.
She was last seen at midday on Friday, January 7 along the Cockhill Road in Buncrana.
An appeal was issued to landowners in the Buncrana area to check sheds, outhouses or other remote buildings on their lands.
Gardaí have thanked the public and the media for their assistance during the search.
