Carrick Icebreakers take to the water for National Council for the Blind

Well done to all the brave souls who came out on Christmas morning in Carrick-on-Shannon and dipped in the Shannon for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind. Special thanks to Carrick Rapid River Responders for their help which was much appreciated. Thanks also to John McCorry, JMC Signs, Summerhill who sponsored the new signs. And finally thanks to Mary O'Boyle for her behind the scenes work for the Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind. Picture: Gerry Faughnan
