Cloudy weather continues with some patchy rain this Thursday

Met Éireann is predicting sunny spells by the afternoon with highs of 8 to 11 degrees
Thursday, March 7, will be cloudy with some patchy rain, but sunny spells will develop by the afternoon and become mostly dry, too. Moderate to fresh southeasterly breezes, strong at times along the coast, with highest temperatures of 8 to 11 degrees.
TONIGHT: A mix of cloud and clear spells along with a few showers, mainly in the east and north - isolated elsewhere. Light to moderate easterly winds will increase to moderate to fresh overnight, strong near coasts. Cloud amounts will tend to increase too.
Lows of 1 to 6 degrees will occur early on in the night, with temperatures rising as the winds increase.
