Ronan Moran, Aughnagallop, Drumshanbo, Leitrim- Suddenly. Cherished son of John and Geraldine and adored brother of Kevin and Fergal. Sadly missed by his devoted Aunts and Uncles, Abina, Ann, Niall and Joe and his loving cousins, Darragh, Eve and Ciaran. Remembered with love by his extended family, especially Colette and Tarah, his girlfriend, Kaitlyn and his wide circle of friends. Reposing at his home on Friday,10th and on Saturday, 11th February, both days from 2pm to 8pm. One way traffic system in operation via the Hilly Road. House strictly private on Sunday please. Funeral Mass in St Patrick's Church, Drumshanbo at 1pm on Sunday, 12th February. Burial immediately afterwards in Drumshanbo New Cemetery. Margaret Finnegan (née Gilchrest), Main Street, Blessington, Wicklow / Carrick-on-Shannon, Roscommon- February 9th, 2023. Peacefully at Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross in the presence of her daughter Suzanne. Predeceased by her husband Hugh and brother Liam. Will be sadly missed by her daughter Suzanne, brother Sean, sister Anna, nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends. Reposing at Clarke’s Funeral Home, Burgage More, Blessington W91YN79 on Saturday morning 11th from 10.00 a.m. to 1.45p.m. with removal to the Church of Our Lady, Blessington arriving for 2.00 p.m. Funeral Mass followed by burial in Burgage Cemetery, Blessington.
Joan Crowley (née Richardson), The Courtyard, Rosscarbery, Cork / Ballyconnell, Cavan / Stillorgan, Dublin -On February 9th 2023 peacefully in her sleep and in the presence of her loving family JOAN, The Courtyard Rosscarbery, Stillorgan & late of Ballyconnell, beloved wife of the late Donal, sister of the late Ken and adored mother of Ian, Mark & Liz. Sadly missed by her grieving family, daughter in law Sophie, son in law Paul, grandchildren Leon, Remi, Lily, Eoin & Ava, brother Ian, relatives & friends. Service on this Saturday at 11.00am in St. Fachtna's Cathedral, Rosscarbery. Cremation will take place at the Island Crematorium, Ringaskiddy afterwards.
Christina (Chris) Byrne (née O'Brien), Abbeyshrule, Longford / Aughavas, Leitrim - Chris passed away peacefully on the 9th February 2023, in the loving care of the staff of Thomond Lodge Nursing Home. She was a native of Cornamuckla, Aughavas parish, Co. Leitrim. Predeceased by her loving husband Jimmie, brothers Seamus and Tommy, sisters Brede and Kay. Chris will be sadly missed and fondly remembered by her loving family James, Mary and David, daughters in law Laura, Cepta and her adoring grandchildren Jimmie, Ellen, Seán, Juliette, Charlie, Conor and Niall, her brother Paddy and sisters Nellie ( Moroney), Patsy (O'Reilly) and Josie (Carr), sister in law Myrnie, brother in law Michael, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends. Chris will repose at her son David's house, Abbeyshrule from 4pm until 8pm this Saturday. Requiem Mass will be celebrated on Sunday, 12th February 2023, at 12pm in Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Abbeyshrule, burial afterwards in Abbeyshrule Cemetery. Maura Healy (née Flynn), Balrothery Estate, Tallaght and formerly of Drumleague, Drumshanbo, Co. Leitrim - February 7th, 2023 peacefully passed away surrounded by her loving family, after a short illness in the wonderful care of Our Lady’s Hospice, Harold’s Cross. Beloved wife of Vincent (Vinnie) and much loved mother to Damien and Karen. Sadly missed by her heartbroken family, daughter-in-law Edel, adored grandchildren Laura, Callum and Ella, brothers Liam and Jim Joe, sisters Geraldine and Sheila, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.Removal on Friday (February 10th) to St. Aengus Church, Balrothery arriving for 10am Funeral Mass and afterwards to Bohernabreena Cemetery. Pauline McDermott née O’Brien, Clooncarne, Bornacoola, Co. Leitrim February 7th 2023 - at her home, beloved wife of the late Tom and dear mother to Noel and Margaret Cranny (Newry), sadly missed by her son and daughter, son in law Cormac, her adored grandchildren Maedb and Tom, sister-in-law Helena, nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and friends. Funeral cortege will leave “The Hollies” on Friday morning at 11.15 travelling via Clooncarne to arrive at St Michael’s Church, Bornacoola for Funeral Mass at 12noon followed by burial in Cloonmorris Cemetery. Maura Reilly, Bohey Rock, Drumlish, Longford - Formerly of Caterham, Surrey, England. Predeceased by her parents Michael and Mary Ann. Maura passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family. Maura will be sadly missed and lovingly remembered by her sisters Monica Thrapp (Longford), Betty Creton (Caterham) and Bernadette Rice (Dublin), her devoted nieces and nephews, Dawn, Tracey, Karen, Kate, Caitriona, Davey and Michéal, extended families, her brothers-in-law Willie Thrapp, Dave Creton, Charles Rice, cousins, relatives, neighbours and many good friends in Bohey Rock and Caterham.
