Nevy (Evelyn) McVeigh (née Duignan), Fearglass, Mohill, Leitrim - The death has occurred of Nevy (Evelyn) McVeigh (nee Duignan), Fearglass, Mohill, on Tuesday, May 9, after an illness bravely bourne, at her home surrounded by her loving family and in the care of the North West Hospice. Predeceased by her parents Nell and Michael. Beloved wife of Patsy, sadly missed by her siblings Mary (Australia), Seamus (Dromod), Phyllis (UK) and Mickey (Australia), sisters-in- law Teresa (Dromod), Kathleen (Australia) and Mai (Sligo) and brothers-in-law Tony (Australia) and Joe (UK) and nieces, nephews, relatives, neighbours and a wide circle of friends. Remains reposing at her home in Fearglass, Mohill on Wednesday, May 10, from 5pm to 8pm. Removal on Thursday (May 11) to arrive at St Mary’s Church, Cloone for Funeral Mass at 12pm followed by burial in the local cemetery. Please strictly adhere to the shuttle buses service from the 98 Bar, Ballinamuck to McVeigh's house.
Mary Kate Dolan, 1 Glendallen, Ballytivnan, Sligo, F91 W7W8 / Glenfarne, Leitrim - Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, in the exceptional care of the staff of No 1 Glendallen. Predeceased by her parents Patrick & Susan, survived by her loving brother Seamus, sister Ann (Brennan) brother in law Richard, nephew Patrick, his fiancée Jillian and grandnephew Ciaran, relatives and a wide circle of friends. Reposing at her residence 1 Glendallen, Ballytivnan (F91W7W8) from 5 to 7 pm Wednesday 10th May. Removal to St Michael’s Church, Glenfarne (F91AE22) on Thursday for funeral Mass at 11.00 am, followed by interment in adjoining cemetery. Andrew (Atty) Scollan, Carrick Road, Drumshanbo, Co Leitrim - Peacefully, on Monday, 8th May 2023, in his 99th year in the tender care of the staff of Abbey Haven Nursing Home, Boyle, surrounded by his loving family. Pre-deceased by his wife, Kahtleen (Kitty) Scollan. Deeply regretted by his sons Tom (Helene), John (Mary), Andrew (Stella) and Barry (Emer), daughters-in-law, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Mass on Wednesday, 10th May, in St. Patrick's Church, Drumshanbo, at 11.00 am followed by burial in the new cemetery. Lisa Evans (née Tobin), Raheelan, Belturbet, Co. Cavan formerly of Stalybridge, Cheshire, England - 6th May 2023, suddenly at her home. Deeply regretted and sadly missed by her husband Martin, daughters Natalie and Stephanie and son Robert, mother Joan, sister Michelle, grandchildren Sofia, George, Mason, Esmee Rose and Jaxon, son-in-law Michael, nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
