Drivers warned about localised flooding on Leitrim roads this morning

Extremely heavy rain over the last 24 hours has led to localised flooding on some secondary roads.

AA Roadwatch is urging motorists in Co Leitrim to slow down and be aware of possible flooding on roads, especially in rural areas.

Gardai are also asking motorists to slow down as road conditions remain treacherous.
