Thursday, January 25, will be dull and breezy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle, with some heavy bursts further west. Low clouds, hill and mist, too. Brightening up somewhat during the afternoon with rain and drizzle becoming patchier.

Relatively mild and humid with the highest temperatures of 11 or 12 degrees with a moderate to fresh south to southwest wind. During the evening or early night, rain will move in from the Atlantic.

TONIGHT: Blustery spells of rain will move eastwards across the country, with some heavy or thundery downpours possibly leading to spot flooding. Turning colder once the rain clears, with some local sleet and hail showers in parts later. Lowest temperatures of 1 to 4 degrees with fresh westerly winds, moderating by morning.
