The Fenagh St. Patrick's Day Parade returns this year, kicking off at 2 pm on Monday 17th

The Fenagh St. Patrick's Day Parade is set to return in 2025, bringing the community together to celebrate the festive occasion. The parade will kick off at 2 p.m. on Monday and head down the main street of Fenagh town, promising a day of fun and festivities for all ages.

This year’s parade is made possible thanks to the dedication of both outgoing and incoming committee members. The community extends its gratitude to the former committee members for their hard work and welcomes the new volunteers who have stepped up to ensure the event goes ahead.

In addition to the parade, fundraising efforts are underway to support the event. A church gate collection will be held before Mass on Sunday, March 16th, and hamper lines are available at Fenagh Visitor Centre and Quinn’s Bar for €2 per line. The draw for the hampers will take place at 5 p.m. on St. Patrick’s Day.

For those eager to explore Fenagh’s rich history, a free tour of the village’s historic sights will be offered on Saturday, March 16th, at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. The 90-minute tour is a great way to learn more about the village’s heritage.

While the town did not host a St. Patrick's Day parade last year, it has opted instead for a Family Fun Day, which will feature both events this year. The Family Fun Day will take place on St. Patrick's Day starting at 11 a.m., providing entertainment for the whole family.

Don’t miss out on this exciting celebration in Fenagh!
