Future Makers Awards for Leitrim designers
Designers from Drumsna and Manorhamilton
Two Leitrim designers have been announced as winners of Future Makers Awards & Supports, the Design & Crafts Council of Ireland’s annual programme for students and emerging makers.
Ruth Duignan, a fashion designer from Drumsna, was awarded Studio Support of €1,000.
Fiona Mulholland, a jewellery designer from Manorhamilton, received the Judges Spotlight Prize of €500.
Future Makers Awards & Supports is one of the biggest award programmes of its kind in Europe and is one of a number of Design & Crafts Council of Ireland (DCCoI) initiatives supporting emerging talent.
