Mike Denver Dance Night in Carrick-on-Shannon
Mike Denver's latest single couldn't be more apt - it's time to “Put on Your Dancing Shoes,” because dance nights are making a very welcome return to Landmark Live, and first up is the Galway Boy himself on Saturday, March 12!
For someone who has spent so much of his life on stage, the restrictions of the last few years have been a big change for Mike, but on the bright side, it coincided with the birth of his and wife Elizabeth's first child, Mia who arrived just as the country went into lockdown in March of 2020.
Mike reflects that at least the downtime allowed him to spend precious time with his daughter: “There were good things and bad things about Covid but one plus was that I got to spend eighteen months at home with herself and do a bit of bonding. “It was the best eighteen months ever.”
Last year also saw the release of two new singles ‘Hey God, Are You Listening?’ and ‘Galway City on a Saturday Night’ and the greatest hits collection ‘So Far, So Good’ which was released just before Christmas.
So ‘Put On Your Dancing Shoes’ and join him and the band at Landmark Live this Saturday night!
Doors open at 10pm with music onstage from 11pm till 1am.
Tickets are €15 and will be on the door on the night.
