Permission granted for Astroturf pitch at Leitrim school
Planning permission has been granted for the construction of a Astroturf pitch in south Leitrim
A conditional planning permission has been granted for the construction of an all-weather astro turf pitch outside of a Leitrim school.
The 3G all-weather pitch will be located at Newtowngore National School, Mullyaster, Newtowngore, Co. Leitrim. (Eircode N41 RY65), and the project will include the construction of a surrounding fence and associated works.
The plans for the development, drawn by Michael Maguire Architects Ltd, indicate that the pitch will be approximately 20 M by 30M and will include a five-metre-high fence around it that consists of netting to prevent balls from leaving the area.
The development is being carried out on behalf of the Board of Management of Newtowngore National School.
The project has been granted permission based on the satisfaction of eight conditions.
