POLL: Is Good Friday a working day or should it be a Bank Holiday?

MAKE GOOD FRIDAY A BANK HOLIDAY

CRACK ON WITH  BUSINESS, IT'S A WORKING DAY

It's Good Friday and as usual there is confusion in Laois and Ireland over whether businesses are open or not. Laois County Council and all the libraries, banks and of course schools are all closed today. Many businesses choose to close too, including at least one Laois pub. 

What do you think? Should it be business as usual in this growingly non religious state, or should the Government bite the bullet and make it an official Bank Holiday with holiday pay if people have to work?
