The chances of a dry spell week in the lead up to St. Patrick's day looked to have slipped away according to reports from Alan O'Reily.

According to www.carlowweather.com, weather charts show chances of rain across the weekend, with rain likely to come on Monday and Tuesday of next.

He added about today (Friday the 8th), "mainly a dry day ahead and some bright spells developing in a strong breeze with another good drying day".
