Carlow weatherman Alan O’Reilly has promised another week of sun and warm weather

Another dry and sunny week lies ahead, according to Carlow weatherman, Alan O’Reilly.

A Status Yellow Weather warning is currently in place for a number of counties across the country, and will remain so until Wednesday.

Alan O’Reilly is predicting temperatures of up to 29 degrees this week, although adds that there will be an “Easterly breeze” that will keep things a little bit cooler, according to KCLR.

“We are looking at another warm, mainly dry week,” he said.

He did add that there is a “small chance”of showers, mainly in the South West.

Those would be on Wednesday and Thursday, should it happen.

“Really most areas now will expect to stay largely dry and warm and sunny,” Alan said.

In a post on Facebook, Alan stated there “no real cool down” can be seen over the next 10 days.

Met Éireann is predicting much the same, but with top temperatures of 27 degrees in Carlow.
