They met over the October Bank Holiday Weekend
Carlow Gardaí have provided advice on crime prevention and Halloween door hangers to Carlow Older Persons Forum Chairman, Joe Butler.
They met with the chairman this past bank holiday weekend in the lead up to Halloween.
From the Garda Síochána Facebook Page:
"This weekend Garda Milward and Trainee Garda Treacy met with Chairperson of Carlow's Older Persons Forum Joe Butler, and provided crime prevention advice in relation to security at home for elderly people in the Carlow Community this Halloween.
Halloween Door Hangers were provided for distribution amongst the community to show if they wish to engage with trick or treater’s or not this Halloween. Please be safe this Halloween, and be mindful that some households may not wish for callers."
