Carlow section of major national road to close for resurfacing
A section of the N18 near the county border will close later this month
A section of the N18 will be closed close to the Carlow/Wicklow border later this month to allow for resurfacing works.
Carlow County Council have published a notice to their official website, announcing their intention to "temporarily close the N81 between its junction with the R726 at Cuckoo Corner and the county boundary to facilitate resurfacing works".
The section of the N18 will be closed from Monday, July 22 until Friday, August 16.
Local diversion routes will be in place.
