Controversial weight loss injection figures revealed in Carlow as Ozempic epidemic hits
The number of people in Carlow using Ozempic has been revealed
New figures have been released on the number of people in the Carlow/Kilkenny region that are currently using weight loss drug Ozempic.
1005 people currently in Carlow/Kilkenny are using Ozempic on the long term illness scheme for 2023, 2024 and January to March 2025.
The total costs come to €959,345 for the weight loss drug in Carlow/Kilkenny.
