Hit show The Traitors inspires 70% increase in castle searches including one in Carlow

The bump in searches comes on Airbnb with a castle in Carlow on the list
The Traitors UK is back on TV screens and with excitement building ahead of the Irish version planned to air later in the year, viewers are once again in amazement at the show’s breathtaking location - Ardross Castle, a beautiful 19th-century castle in Scotland.
The show’s combination of cinematic scenery and gripping drama is sparking a surge in interest for stately getaways, with new Airbnb data revealing approximately a 70% increase for the Castle Category by Irish guests over the past twelve months.
Derek Nolan, Head of Public Policy in Ireland at Airbnb, said: “Airbnb hosts open up their doors to some of the most impressive homes in Ireland, including stunning castles with rich Irish heritage. With the recent announcement of an Irish edition of The Traitors coming later this year and the new season of The Traitors UK back on screen again, our range of stunning castle stays can transport guests to their very own Traitors-esque sanctum. Plot your own game of cunning and camaraderie, with a screen-worthy castle get-away - suitable for both traitors and faithfuls.”

If you’re looking for somewhere to stay with a difference this castle, located in the ‘Garden of Ireland’, County Carlow, will not disappoint. The rooms of Huntington all include original period features such as four poster beds, oak panelling, with each room having its own story to tell.
