RIP: Tributes paid to Carlow woman who was a 'lovely lady' following her passing

Tributes have been paid following the passing of Mary (Moll) Hickey (née Kearney) of Tullowland, Tullow, Carlow.
Mary passed away peacefully at St. Luke’s Hospital, Kilkenny on the 26th of May 2025.
Recently predeceased by her loving husband Paddy. Sadly missed by her brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, good neighbours and many friends.
Tributes have been paid in the condolences section of Rip.ie and read as follows:
"My deepest sympathies to all the family and friends especially Jimmy and family. So sorry and sad to hear of the passing of Tommy. May he rest peacefully in the arms of the Lord Jesus Christ. Tommy will be remembered fondly for his sense of humour and his quick wit.
Rest in peace Tommy your suffering is over and you will be rewarded in heaven for all your good deeds and your love for your family and friends."

Funeral Arrangements
Reposing at Halligan’s Funeral Home, Barrack Street, Tullow (Eircode R93 TX99) on Wednesday from 5pm concluding at 8pm. Funeral arriving to The Church of The Most Holy Rosary, Tullow on Thursday morning for 11am Requiem Mass after which she will be laid to rest with Paddy in St. Patrick’s Cemetery, Tullow.
