Uisce Eireann (Irish Water) submit planning application to Carlow County Council

Uisce Eireann (Irish Water) submitted a planning application to Carlow County Council on Tuesday 2nd January 2024.
The application detailed the construction of an ESB medium voltage substation (standard design) to include an adjacent customer switchroom and transformer on a concrete foundation and base, and all associated ancillary works.
The proposed development is located at Pembroke Wastewater Pumping Station (WWPS), Barrowville, Kilkenny Road, Co. Carlow.
A Natura Impact Statement (NIS) was also submitted to the planning authority with the application.
