A bright and fresh day across the county for the day with sunny spells in Carlow, with only a few spells of showers.
Then looking at Met Éireann for today:
"It will be a bright and fresh day with a mix of sunny spells and showers. It will be mostly dry this morning with just isolated showers but showers will spread from the west through the afternoon, some possibly heavy with hail. Highest temperatures of 8 to 10 degrees in fresh westerly winds."
Tonight:
"Clear spells and just isolated showers early tonight. However, outbreaks of squally rain will spread from the southwest soon after midnight. An isolated thunderstorm is possible also. Lowest temperatures overnight of between 0 and +3 degrees with gusty southeast winds, veering westerly by dawn on Wednesday."
Tomorrow:
"Any lingering overnight rain will quickly clear early on Wednesday morning to leave a bright and breezy day with a mix of sunshine and scattered showers. Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees in fresh to strong northwest winds."
Wednesday Night:
"Showers will become confined to Atlantic coastal areas on Wednesday night and many areas will become dry with clear skies. A cold night with lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees with frost developing in some areas as westerly winds fall light over land."
