A Kilkenny town is on the look out for new first responders
First responders are being sought in Callan
Interested in helping the Callan community as a first responder? You can make a difference by providing assistance to those in need.
Community First Responders (CFR) are volunteers who are trained to attend certain types of emergency calls in the area where they live or work. Their aim is to reach a potential life threatening emergency in the first vital minutes before the ambulance crew arrives.
Your time and skills can truly change their life. No prior experience is required; all you need is a willingness to help and a compassionate heart. Full training and guidance will be provided to ensure everyone feels prepared and supported (driving license is essential).
