Kilkenny County Council will host a public information evening on May 27th

As part of the planning process, Kilkenny County Council will host a public information evening at the Paulstown Community Centre, R95 NY93, on Wednesday, May 27, between 6pm and 8pm.

The evening will allow people from the area to view the proposed plans and particulars and discuss the proposed project with the technical staff involved.

Key objectives outlined in last year’s Paulstown Masterplan include the development of a new pedestrian walkway linking the school to Main Street, alongside enhanced cycling and walking infrastructure. Plans also propose the construction of a new footpath along the R448 to create a complete loop around the town.

In addition, the Masterplan aims to relocate the community hall to a more central location, while repurposing the existing hall to provide additional sporting amenities, including changing facilities.

Proposing that the plan go on public display in 2025, Cllr Michael Delaney, said that Paulstown has the potential to be a "mini city" with the traffic that comes off the motorway there. - READ MORE HERE
