Rolling electricity outages are expected in parts of Kilkenny City over the next eight weeks due to planned works to facilitate network upgrades from today (Monday, April 27).

These upgrades will see the installation of a new cable between The River Court Hotel and the intersection of Bateman Quay and Parliament Street. The project will strengthen the local electricity network, improve resilience, and support future growth and development in the city, delivering a higher quality of service for both residential and business customers.
