ALERT: Kilkenny graduates urged to register for Seanad elections
Registration for the new Seanad Higher Education Constituency is open until January 23, 2025
Kilkenny graduates from designated Irish institutions can now vote in Seanad elections, with new rules replacing the NUI and Trinity constituencies with a six-seat 'Higher Education' constituency.
The list of designated institutions can be accessed here.
Graduates must register at www.seanadvoter.ie by January 23, 2025, providing a PPS number and passport photo.
The first register will be published on 1 April 2025, with annual updates from 2026.
Those on the NUI and Trinity registers must re-register to secure their vote.
