Big names return to Kilkenny squad for Leinster showdown with Wexford

There are a couple of notable returns to the Kilkenny matchday panel this weekend as Derek Lyng's team get set to meet Wexford in the final game of the Leinster Championship round-robin.

Adrian Mulllen's recovery from injury to take his place on the bench will be a big boost to Kilkenny supporters but he's not the only experienced player to come back with Walter Walsh also named in the 26.

Throw-in Kilkenny under 20 stars Killian Doyle and Harry Shine also making the bench and it's a sure sign that Kilkenny are nearing ever closer to having their best squad available to them.

On the team itself, there are two changes from last Saturday's win over Dublin with Richie Reid and Billy Ryan starting in place of Shane Murphy and Owen Wall who are both named among the subs.

Kilkenny need at least a point to be assured of a pl . ace in next month's Leinster Final but after suffering defeats in each of the last two seasons to Wexford, the home side will be going all out for victory.

Sunday's game throws-in from UPMC Nowlan Park at 2pm.
