Bishop makes plea to people of Kilkenny as shortages hit local churches

The Bishop of Ossory has said they will make efforts to turn the tide
Bishop Niall Coll has urged Kilkenny parishes to revive the practice of having altar servers at weekend masses with efforts set to be made to encourage boys and girls to serve at mass.
Safeguarding of children regulations would have to be strictly adhered to.
Elsewhere, many parishioners in the Tullahought community have been left without access to Sunday Mass streams over the past month due to poor broadband coverage.
