Cash stolen from car in Kilkenny housing estate in opportunistic crime

Gardaí are appealing to the public for assistance following an opportunistic crime in a Kilkenny housing estate in recent days.

On the morning of December 3 the owner of the vehicle went out 'to warm up the car' which was parked outside his house at Talbot's Court on the Freshford Road.

The incident took place at approximately 7am in freezing conditions. When the owner returned to the car he discovered that cash had been stolen from the vehicle.

Gardaí are appealing to anyone who saw any suspicious in the area at the time to contact Kilkenny gardaí on (056) 7775000.
