Delight as Kilkenny dog finally finds new home in South-East

A friendly German Shepherd’s days in the Carlow-Kilkenny Dog Shelter came to an end this week, as a dog’s best friend came to the rescue.

A man and woman from County Wexford, whose dog sadly passed away recently, adopted Drogo after falling in love with the canine on first meeting.

“It was an instant match and we are so delighted to say that tonight Drogo is in his new home in Wexford,” the local shelter posted online.

“We can’t thank this couple enough for giving a Shelter dog a home, we know he will have a wonderful life with both of you.”
