Detective unit investigating criminal damage to property in Kilkenny

Gardaí have launched an investigation after a break-in and criminal damage incident at a house in Kilkenny City.

The house, located in St Kieran’s Crescent, was broken into sometime between 8am on January 31 and 7pm on February 3.

Entry was made via the patio door where the glass had been smashed.

The kitchen window was also broken and damage was done to the interior of the property.

A TV screen was smashed along with a glass pane in the kitchen press.

No property has been reported missing at this time.
