The local man is a very familiar face to those who walk the High Street in Kilkenny City
Kilkenny food blogger, Tracie Daly has once again teamed up with local traffic warden John Dunphy who offered his advice on staying cool in the hot weather.
Mr Dunphy has been in the role since January 1988 and previously commented he's still ‘in his element’ in job as he gets the opportunity to 'meet people.’
With temperatures soaring last week and rumours that another heatwave is just around the corner, the High Street traffic warden gave this tip to Tracie’s thousands of social media followers.
“Drink plenty of this (water). Not alcohol, water,” he said while on duty last week.
In the video, Tracie replied, “There’s only one Johnny Dunphy.”
