Driver caught in major operation being conducted by gardaí and customs in Kilkenny
Gardaí and customs officers conducting a joint operation in North Kilkenny intercepted a motorist earlier today (Monday).
After inspecting the vehicle, the gardaí detected the presence of green diesel.
"When they say 'go green', they don't mean your diesel," a garda spokesperson said.
"Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit and customs carrying out checkpoints today throughout the county, one detection for green diesel in North Kilkenny."
