Driver disregards their 'Civic' duty in Kilkenny - vehicle seized!

A driver in Kilkenny who was recently caught displaying expired NCT, insurance and tax discs on their Honda Civic has had their vehicle seized.

Following the seizure, gardaí took to social media with their best Honda-related puns to highlight the incident.

"The driver of this Honda didn't stop of their own Accord but instead when our Roads Policing Inspector activated the lights and siren," the statement reads.

"No way to Jazz up a windscreen like this that is so deficient. Regardless, the driver got a swift Insight into the Road Traffic Act as their car is now seized and sitting in the garda compound.

"Court to follow for this Legend."

As gardaí make clear, it is a driver's Civic duty to ensure that they are compliant with road traffic legislation.
