Famous singer and nine nationalities pass through airport in Kilkenny (1974)

People of nine nationalities passed through Kilkenny airport during the past week.
One of them was singer Val Doonican, who was visiting his mother in Waterford and flew in from England.
The nine nationalities were: Irish, English, French, Greek, Swedish, Finnish, Japanese, Danish and German.
All were tourists, with the exception of Mr Doonican.
