Former Kilkenny-Carlow broadcaster and well known partner celebrate special wedding day
Congratulations to Eimear Ní Bhraonáin and Alan O'Reilly!
Local social media users are sending their very best wishes to former KCLR broadcaster Eimear Ní Bhraonáin and well-known Carlow weatherman Alan O'Reilly who both said 'I do' at a memorable wedding ceremony earlier today (Wednesday).
The happy couple secretly got engaged over a year ago in Donegal and finally got the chance to celebrate their 'special day'.
Posting to social media, Alan O'Reilly commented; "A special day today so you may excuse the reduction in weather updates."
People from Kilkenny and further afield responded in huge numbers with messages of congratulations reaching over 2,000 comments on Facebook alone.
Speaking to Kilkenny Live at the time of their engagement, Eimear said; "We are both too old for engagements but delighted at the same time. For all the single women out there, don’t give up! Only for the local radio I wouldn’t have met the weatherman."
