Fresh plans submitted for Black Cat site in Kilkenny

Fresh plans have been submitted by Hebron Ventures Ltd, seeking to develop the Black Cat site in Kilkenny City.
There are some new site layout amendments in this new application when compared to the original proposal submitted in June of last year, including the removal of a previously proposed vehicular entrance at De Loughry Place.
Sought is the construction of 23 dwelling units consisting of five three-bedroom terraced houses, a two-storey duplex block and a four-storey duplex and apartment building.
Undercroft parking at lower ground level accessed off of Blackmill Street is planned, as well as stepped pedestrian access through to Dominic Street.
The existing Black Cat public house and associated outbuildings, including the existing forecourt structure and associated shop, are planned to be demolished.
