Gardaí seize motorcycle after making discovery once they had it pulled over in Kilkenny
The rider a motorcycle drew the attention of Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit with what was described as 'quite simply poor driving' early on Saturday morning.
A quick check found that the motor tax had expired over three years.
The vehicle was subsequently seized.
Separately, fixed charge notices were issued to motorists around the city for mobile phone offences.
