Gardaí seize vehicle from uninsured and unaccompanied learner driver in Kilkenny

Kilkenny Roads Policing Unit detected a vehicle on the Automatic Number Plate Recognition (ANPR) system with no insurance whilst on patrol earlier today in County Kilkenny.

Upon stopping the driver, they also discovered that they were unaccompanied with no 'L' plates or tax.

The vehicle was seized and court will follow.

Gardaí have taken to social media to remind drivers that they now have access to up-to-date live insurance details.
