The event will raise funds for the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust and the Dillon Quirke Foundation, with all gate receipts going to charity

Sunday, November 1 will be a historic day at Foulkstown, with all four of Kilkenny RFC’s adult teams playing at home on the same day for the first time in the club’s history.

To mark the occasion, the club is holding a Heritage Day and Charity Collection, celebrating the connections the players have with their schools, colleges, GAA clubs and other teams.

All gate receipts will go to the Kevin Bell Repatriation Trust, a charity close to the hearts of David O’Connor’s family, and the Dillon Quirke Foundation, which provided free cardiac screening for 50 of the club’s underage players at the start of the season.

Players are also encouraged to make a charity match-fee donation of at least €5.

The women’s 1st XV and men’s 2nd XV are due to kick off at 1pm, followed by the men’s 1st XV and women’s 2nd XV at 2.45pm. Kick-off times may change slightly.

Everyone is welcome to come along, support all four teams and help raise funds for two important causes.
