'Isolated thunderstorms and hail' possible in Kilkenny today, warns Met Éireann
Windy and showery today (Wednesday) in Kilkenny with showers merging into some longer spells of rain, according to Met Éireann.
"Isolated thunderstorms and hail are possible too," the forecaster warns.
Drying up for a time later in the afternoon, before outbreaks of rain feed up from the southwest during the evening.
Highest temperatures of 7 to 9 degrees, in mostly strong and gusty westerly winds.
