With the 891 Kilkenny to Fiddown service going from strength to strength, the Lingaun Valley Loop Bus has also seen an increase in numbers as it enters the last three weeks of its Pilot Phase.

Those wishing to explore the County Kilkenny countryside in that area are being advised to make the most of the pilot minibus service as it enters its final month of operation.

The free bus service has been 99.7% reliable and almost three quarters of people using the loop service close to the Kilkenny-Tipperary border are locals, new research has shown.

Service users can hop on, hop off at their leisure, discover all that the Lingaun Valley has to offer an rejoin the minibus service on its next loop. The bus orbits the region five times a day, seven days a week
