Kilkenny business to feature on TV screens across the UK and Ireland

Johnny Vegas brings Little Shop of Antiques to Kilkenny as a local business is set to feature on the TV show.
Kilkenny viewers will get a chance to spot a familiar local business Kilkenny Architectural Salvage and Antiques on television this Tuesday evening.
The comedian and actor travelled to Ireland as part of his tour and stopped off at the local business while filming for the Discovery Quest series.
Johnny was on the hunt for some great bargains during his visit, with staff describing it as an “amazing day” of filming.
However, it appears the famous comedian wasn’t the only one with an eye for a deal.
The business revealed that Johnny’s son Tom, who travelled with him, proved to be the expert haggler on the day.
“We thought Johnny would be the hard bargainer, but it turns out his son Tom, who travelled with him, was the expert haggler,” they said.
“We all learnt a few things from him.”
The finished episode is set to air on Quest this Tuesday, August 18, at 9pm.
It promises to give viewers a glimpse behind the scenes of Johnny’s Irish tour, as he searches for antiques and bargains along the way.
