From this week's Kilmacow Notes...

Well done to everyone involved in the preparing, organising and supporting this year’s 5km charity walk from Ballykeoghan to Skeard to Ballykillaboy and back to Ballykeoghan.

The amount raised for Breakthrough Cancer Research was €30,312.54, which will be directed towards brain cancer research.

In the two previous years of the event funds were raised for the Solas Centre/Pink Run and for Epilepsy Ireland.

The cumulative total raised from the three years is in excess of €70,000.

Well done to all concerned.
