Kilkenny community prepare for annual 'spring-clean

The Tullahought annual spring clean litter pick, supported by An Taisce and Kilkenny County Council, will be held on Saturday, February 17 with volunteers meeting at the church at 10am. Litter pickers, bags, gloves and hi-vis jackets will be available.

People who would prefer to pick on other days are asked to let organisers know what roads they are covering and if equipment is needed. All who would like to be involved are welcome, while all drivers are asked to take extra care in the coming weeks by slowing down during the campaign and to respect the volunteers efforts by taking their litter home or to a recycling bank.
