Kilkenny Duathlon returns to Castle Park this April

It’s back to the Castle for Kilkenny Triathlon Club as their 2024 Duathlon race returns on Sunday, April 7.

Starting at 11am competitors will take on the run-bike-run course which begins with a 5km run in the Castle Park before taking on a 20km cycle that goes out to Danesfort and across into Bennettsbridge before returning to the Castle Park for a second 3km run.

This event is the perfect opportunity for athletes of all abilities to push themselves in a supportive, friendly and fun atmosphere.

Whether a seasoned triathlete or a newcomer to the sport, all are sure to find something to love in the race and in Kilkenny.

“We can assure you that we have been working tirelessly to create an event that is both challenging and enjoyable for all participants and for spectators to enjoy,” said club PRO Ian Comerford.

“And if you’re not racing we would be thrilled to have you there to cheer on the competitors and help them push through to the finish.”
