Kilkenny farm boast first winter barley harvest

He made the First Combined Cut of his Orcade BYDV Tolerant Barley on Thursday, July 2, and the barley was combined by Brian Ireland.

The barley was sown on September 24, 2025, at Knock, Co. Kilkenny at 12 stone per acre and 170 units of nitrogen.
